What We're All About

For dealers, brokers, buyers and sellers of heavy equipment and related items, most of your day is spent fielding calls about trucking, freight fowarding, financing, how much something is worth, where to find new and used parts, etc. All of these items are important to your customers, but take time away from the business of buying and selling equipment.

HeavyEquipmentAdvisors.com was created to free up time fielding these questions, while providing a great resource for customers to find Heavy Equipment related products and services.

Our goal is to provide a straight forward directory of resources. By keeping each category to a limited number of select companies, we can take the guess work out of having to call a laundry list of potential providers. We strive to make sure that our listings are reputable companies and we maintain a relationship with all of them.

We try to keep our business model simple and easy to use. But if you have a suggestion or idea that might help you and others out, or would like help putting a link or banner on your website or emails please let us know!

Mark Hockaday, Co-Founder

Mark worked in the construction industry for 30 years as Vice President of Operations for Branscome Construction. He always enjoyed buying and selling heavy equipment, trucks and plants. Branscome owned several asphalt and concrete plants, sand and gravel operations, and a concrete crushing plant along with 750 pieces of heavy equipment. Over the years, he was able to attend hundreds of equipment auctions where he purchased and sold lots of equipment and made numerous deals with suppliers of all kinds.

In 2003 he took over as owner of Henry Manufacturing Co. which primarily sold and built the Concrete Cyclone Reclaimer. After missing being more involved with heavy equipment, he founded Hockaday’s Online Heavy Equipment Appraisals which offers online equipment appraisals with a quick turnaround and reasonable price. Shortly thereafter, he started buying, selling and brokering equipment. Henry Manufacturing Co. now sells heavy equipment in over 50 countries around the world. Trying to streamline operations while maintaining a quality of service to his customers is what led to the creation of Heavy Equipment Advisors.
